Entry #2: Growing Up
Lifes been a struggle the past two years from family issues to just trying to figure things out. I was kicked out at 18 because I had a candle lit in my room, so my mom assumed the worst and shipped me on my way. I thought candles were used to relax or make your room smell better not an indicator that you were trying to smoke some dope in your room behind your moms back. Anyways I found my way to my dads where life wasn't the greatest, but hey a room was over my head and I had a bed to sleep in. Two months later my dad was told to vacate the home because bills weren't being paid. I moved into a friends house where it didn't work out, so I moved around until I moved into an apartment with my friend who was pregnant and her boyfriend. The rent and bills were cheap and there are three people to help clean up after ourselves. What could go wrong? Well if you wanna deal with messy people who can't take out their own trash, leave dishes built up for 3 months or dirty diapers as decorations, then I found the roommates for you. That lasted a whopping 3 months until they moved out slowly, but they left. Finally I was going to have a great roommate who understood what I went through before and it was great until she ended up pregnant and panicked by moving out early on the lease and leaving me with a house to maintain by myself, and double the bills. I don't know what it is or if it's the water where I live, but pregnancy in others has been my biggest issue it seems. Things have gotten easier with my sisters moving in with me because they help a lot around the house and with my two pups, but I still get hit with things such as owing a lot on tax refunds and so forth, but not everything can go as planned in life and I've been learning to take the hits in life. I am only 20, so this is just life my life in progress.
Entry #1: Blog Life
As you all can see I am new to blogging and I'm trying to figure it out by looking up and researching blogs to see how things work. I've come across a couple blogs that I really like because they deal with health and ways to make food healthy but taste better than your basic chicken, rice, and vegetable meal prep. Don't get me wrong the basic prep is simple and quick to make if you're in a hurry, but it gets tiring after eating three weeks of the same thing. So I found this blog called Skinnytaste and it is one the best break downs of health foods I've seen. She breaks everything down by categories and the recipes look to die for. My mouth is still salivating from her take on a baked chicken parmesan. I am so on and off with eating healthy and I know I should be eating healthy, but it's hard when the food doesn't always taste as good as it looks and I guess you could possibly lose weight by licking the screen or picture; less calories that way I guess. This blog makes me want to eat the food and doesn't seem like another pretty picture, but tasteless food. Can't wait to try things out. Another blog I came across was Science is Beauty and its neat blog, but any type of professional blog or educational doesn't seem to catch my eye. I feel like blogs should be fun and give me more of an incite on someone. I know not all blogs are personal, but I have learned from bartending that somethings should be left undiscussed unless you want to spark a fire in a long discussion that no one will see eye to eye in. Anyways just a little incite on my life as it is still in progress.

About Kallie
My name is Kallie, I'm 20 years old and I live in Arizona. I had to become responsible when I turned 18 so it might sound pathetic but I don't really do a lot besides go to school, go to work, play with my two dogs and sleep. I have had the same job since I was 16 years old and four and half years later I am still there. So as you can see there is not a whole lot of social life or hobbies when you have to many other things to worry about and not enough time in the day to make it all happen. I occasionally go to the gym with my sister if she isn't working when I'm not working and I occasionally see friends if I have a break from my hectic life. I have two dogs a four year old Chihuahua Terrier and a rambunctious puppy Boxer who is almost one. I currently attend Glendale Community College where I plan on being for four years for the nursing program they have with NAU. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, but I finally decided that I wanted to help people in a positive way. I truly love helping people and I know I can do that through nursing. I just want to make a difference in someone's life and until then my life and is a work in progress.
