Another family that got pointless fame is the Kardashians. Don't get me wrong, I love watching "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and I have kept up with Kylie and Kendall Jenner on social media accounts, but they definitely didn't earn their fame. Everyone knows them from when their father Robert Kardashian was the lawyer for O.J. during his trial. Then Kim Kardashian did some adult filming with singer Ray J and the rest is history. Some of them have eared their fame now that they're older like Kendall and her modeling, but none of them would be known if it weren't for Kim.

Entry #10 Pointless Fame
Do you ever realize how many people nowadays get famous for no reason whatsoever. They put one video up online and they go viral, soon enough Ellen DeGeneres or Dr. Phil has them on their show and praising them. Everyone knows of the girl who went on Dr. Phil with an attitude and anger problem. She called the audience a bunch of "hoes" and told them to "Catch me Outside, How Bout Dat?" She blew up on the internet with a bunch of memes, she was featured in a music video and there are even news/magazine articles with updates on her life. Like who cares? She is now getting all this internet fame and does she really deserve it? The answer is a hard no.

So many people are handed fame and success in life for no reason, but like some of the Kardashians, they actually do something with their handed fame and make someone out of themselves.

Entry#9: Fast Food Fresh
Does anyone ever think about what would happen if you left a fast food meal out for a certain amount of time without touching it. Well I read an article earlier this week that dealt with a McDonalds happy meal being left out for six years without being touched and nothing at all changed. The meal looked as if someone just left it out that day and it just turned cold. There was no mold, or change of look to the food. Imagine giving that to your five year old son. That is what people are feeding their children. I know sometimes it may be easier to just stop at a drive through, but things like this or when you break apart the Taco Bell ground beef, you can literally see pieces of cardboard mixed in. A happy meal for a kid didn't rot and it was chicken nuggets which should of went bad or had some kind of odor, but nothing happened. The amount of artificial ingredients being put in these food is why they don't rot. This test just shows that people should be putting better things in their body and they should be feeding their kids more natural foods.
Entry#8: Post Depression
There is always a post depression during this time of the year because football season has ended and will not begin for another six months. The only thing to watch is the only sports where Arizona has the worst teams for. At least when football season is around, there are teams like the Broncos that people can root for and not worry about being the laughing stock of the league. Even the Cardinals aren't doing the greatest, they don't compare to the losing streaks the Suns and Diamondbacks have going for themselves. If I remember correctly the Diamondbacks were the third worst team in the nation last year. Arizona sport suck, so it forces people to root for other teams. I have been a Denver Bronco fan since I little since I was born in Wyoming and most people in Wyoming go for whatever team is closest to them, so my dads' side of family happen to choose the Broncos, so it has stuck with me. Denver has won three Super bowls including last years Super Bowl 50. So until next season, all I can focus on is the trades and free agents in the NFL, until I can watch my team win again.
Entry#7: Fresh
Do you ever think about what goes on inside that medium rare steak or what it would take to make a change in your eating habits. I recently had the opportunity to watch a documentary film called "Fresh." The film went over industrial farming and how animals are treated in industrial farming systems. Human bodies are made to eat meat, but the living conditions of the animals and the amount of chemicals given to each animal is inhumane. Even some farmers feed some cows dead cows which causes disease like Mad Cow. Most people know that animal cruelty happen, but unless someone physically watches an animal get slaughtered or how they are forcing thousands on thousands of cows, chickens, pigs, etc. to be withheld into a small space while they are injected with multiple chemicals, it is definitely an eye opener. It honestly made me think about what exactly I am putting in my body. Like I said humans were meant to eat meat, our bodies were meant to do it, but being conscious of what is going into our bodies is so important. This has a lot to with the treatment of animals. I know this is something people won't change over night, but it would be a lot better for us and the animals.

Entry#6 Server Life 2.0
Let me tell you I could go on and on about life of being a server. I know I raged on tipping last week, but this week it is all about how the guests act. There are so many different people seen everyday while serving and there is times when there are mess ups from the server like everyone in life we all make mistakes but to sit there and yell or mistreat the server for that is beyond my understanding. For example, this last week I was bartending and this guy who comes in a lot and drinks the same wine(yeah a biker guy who drinks wine, so masculine, I know) and we happen to sell a lot that wine that weekend and we were out of it still. So he walks up and asks if we had any of the wine he drinks and the answer was no, so he proceeded to say some rude comments and then he said " this wine has been out since Friday night, it is starting to feel personal, I should just go to Zipps." Like I hope you know that threating to go to another restaurant wont hurt me at all. Actually I am glad you are leaving, and I hope you permanently choose to go to Zipps. Another favorite for servers is when someone or a table act like they are the only table in the restaurant , so they take their sweet time to order and they are constantly waving to get the servers attention. People have slowly lost their manners since thank you is barely said or people snap their fingers to get the servers attention. Like no one likes to be snapped at or have someone point in their face, so what makes that different for someone serving you? Or when the server is talking to another table, that does not give the guest the right to interrupt them or come up and talk to them while they are serving or talking to another table, like that is so insanely rude. Another thing is the menu is there to guide guests, and the servers is there to help if there are any additional questions, not to read the whole menu to you. And when asked certain questions such as " would you like your baked potato loaded, with butter or sours cream, plain?" The answer is not "yes." Like yes what? If given three options, yes is not one of them. Working in the food industry the realization of how awful and selfish people can be comes up a lot, trust me you meet a lot of good people during the journey, but it can also suck a lot too.
P. S Always remember to tip properly!
Entry #5: OMG You're So Pretty
Ever realize how important a comment or like is on a photo? Or how about the amount of likes in a certain amount of time. We live in a society where that is actually a concern for most females. They want feedback from people and they go to extremes to get there. There are certain times to post things to get certain amount of likes. Like don't you dare post a picture in the morning during a week day unless you're expecting a slow feedback from people. I truly believe this is a female thing though. Females especially care about this like they expect all their female friends to like their pictures and if they're really close then they better be commenting on your picture to let you know how hot they look or how cute their outfit is. Another thing is for most females they are monitoring who likes their photos and who comments. It is almost like it makes you feel good to get a certain amount of likes or certain amount of comments. And if you're not getting enough likes and some of your friends haven't liked it then most girls text their friends telling them to "go like my recent picture on Insta." I am guilty of it all, maybe not as much not as I use to be in high school, but I definitely lived for likes or I texted my best friend Delaney to go like my picture. But it's not just Instagram.
Even celebrities like Kylie Jenner live for the likes and social media attention.
It is on all social media, from Twitter to Facebook to Snapchat, etc. Females live for the favorites/ retweets on twitter, they live for the likes/shares on Facebook, or the amount od views they have on Snapchat. Social media is a way to promote your life and the things going on in it. I think this is why I have grown to hate social media. I am all about going on the accounts and scrolling through things, but I don't enjoy it as much. I don't like the pressure it brings to be better than others or the stress of a stupid like. It shouldn't matter what others think especially through social media. How is getting someone's interest through their cell phone helping anyone in the long run. This generations obsession with social media and what everyone thinks of them will be the death of this generation because not everyone is going to live up to famous accounts or celebrities.

Entry #4: Server Life
I have worked for the same company for four and a half years and of those years I have served for more than 3. Nothing gets me more than people not tipping the amount they should be. Tipping is a way that servers make a living and if their not making any money. Like most restaurants show the tip amount at the bottom pf the check, why can't people just look at the bottom and add, its that simple. I get it some servers don't deserve 20%. The server who never checks on you, the one who you can never find or the server who acts like she has a stick shoved where the sun don't shine. I myself can't stand those servers and since I am a server I try not to be any of those servers. But what about the costumers? What about the customer who is needy, the one whose rude for no reason, or my favorite the customer who snaps or yells your name across the restaurant to get your attention? There should be a special service charge for those customers. And if you don't have enough money to tip when you go out, then don't do it, ramen or boxed Kraft Mac N Cheese would suffice. You'll save yourself some money and save me from wasting my time. It might sound selfish to say that, but until you have ran around crazy for a table and waited on them hand and foot to get a 5%-10% you would more than understand that statement. Customers never seem to care or realize how busy a server is. For example: last week I was super busy because the manager called off a server in the bar, so I was the only one serving. The night started slow and then out of no where table after table showed up and I was getting my butt kicked a little bit. I finally got up to this table of four to take their food order because they said they were ready and the first lady sat there for two minutes saying "ummmm hmmm I don't know I wanted the chicken, but the ribs look so good." LADY DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND I AM BUSY AND THIS IS NOT MAKING ANYTHING BETTER! Many servers would agree that working in the restaurant industry shows how selfish and inconsiderate people can be. They're are many servers that are questionable to on why they are even serving or how they got hired in the first place, but if its a server like me who works her butt off and does it with a smile every time, then that's a little different. Lastly, yes minimum wage just went up, and yes servers still need to be tipped. Most servers still barely get paychecks or none at all even with the wage increase, its because their pay relies on tips only. So do all servers a favor by tipping properly, by not being annoying/rude and realize that you're not the only table in the whole restaurants so therefore not all our attention is yours.
Entry #3: Jenna
Many people know about the online famous Jenna Marbles. Jenna Marbles has to be one of the funniest people out because of her weird and insane personality. She talks about people or issues she has, but makes you laugh. I have been watching Jenna Marbles for years and I even catch myself watching her online videos after a long day to have a little laugh.
https://youtu.be/CnV5NYy8bAQ
She talks about relatable topics that most my age have been through. Like in the video above I truly believe that every girl needs that awkward stage in life where she has no clue how to do their make or when they sneak make up on behind their moms backs. Like Jenna Marbles said, "It kills me when I see these 9 years olds with naked palettes crafting this perfect smoky eye." I remember in 8th grade my mom grounded me from eyeliner because I literally put enough eyeliner to cover half my eyelid. All girls have that awkward phase, well they are suppose to anyways. Most of her videos are for a good laugh or something most girls can relate to. She does have topics that guys to watch, but I think she aims for the female crowd. One of the first videos I watched of hers lie 6 years ago was "When the Face Doesn't Work" which was an elaboration of another video. I can't tell you how long I laughed for, I even had it on while writing this and I laughed the whole time. She uses a bunch of profanity so warning while watching.
She has made herself based off her how funny she makes every situations. She gives ideas and love feedback from her followers. She has gained her online identity from all these videos, like no one knows if she is actually this funny, but they expect it based off how she puts herself out there on YouTube. And like any social media account anyone has, the way they perceive themselves online is how people see you. Just like how I put myself out there on this blog is most likely how you see me and how you see my life and my interests or what I like to talk about. Online identity is a huge thing nowadays because almost everyone has sometime of social media account or electronic. That is why people like Jenna Marbles become famous since everyone is on the internet looking for a laugh or to look for something to watch to make them laugh after a long day like me.
