Do you ever think about what goes on inside that medium rare steak or what it would take to make a change in your eating habits. I recently had the opportunity to watch a documentary film called "Fresh." The film went over industrial farming and how animals are treated in industrial farming systems. Human bodies are made to eat meat, but the living conditions of the animals and the amount of chemicals given to each animal is inhumane. Even some farmers feed some cows dead cows which causes disease like Mad Cow. Most people know that animal cruelty happen, but unless someone physically watches an animal get slaughtered or how they are forcing thousands on thousands of cows, chickens, pigs, etc. to be withheld into a small space while they are injected with multiple chemicals, it is definitely an eye opener. It honestly made me think about what exactly I am putting in my body. Like I said humans were meant to eat meat, our bodies were meant to do it, but being conscious of what is going into our bodies is so important. This has a lot to with the treatment of animals. I know this is something people won't change over night, but it would be a lot better for us and the animals.
